  20. If you are running Active Server Pages version 1.0b on 
  21. Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) version 3.0, 
  22. you may experience performance problems. It may take a long 
  23. time for you to notice these performance problems, depending 
  24. on how often the Active Server Pages are accessed.

  26. CAUSE

  28. These performance problems are caused by a memory leak 
  29. in Asp.dll. You can confirm this with Performance Monitor.

  70. version 1.0b. A supported fix is now available, but has not been fully 
  71. regression-tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this 
  72. specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, 
  73. Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Service Pack that contains 
  74. this fix. Contact Microsoft Technical Support for more information.
